One of the things we often hear from our customers at exhibitions is that they are not sure whether to choose the heeled or heel-less type. Here are some of the advantages and disadvantages of both types.
≪"With heel" type≫
Easy to move around in because of the fit and hold, and they don't come off easily.
The heel is wrapped with wool felt, so it is very warm in winter.
The heel can also be folded forward for a two-way fit.
You may find it troublesome to take them on and off frequently.
The price is a little higher than the heelless type (because more wool is used).
Easy to put on and take off, so you can put your feet in and out easily.
Slightly lower price than the heeled type (because less wool is used).
Comfortable to wear in all seasons except winter.
The heel is not wrapped, so it may be more difficult to walk and easier to take off.
Because the heel is not wrapped, the heat retention in winter is relatively low.
What I have written is almost the opposite, but I think the rest depends on the customer's preference for the appearance of the design. This is true not only for wool felted shoes, but also for leather shoes. Personally, I don't have a recommendation. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us.
